Save our sport with skirts!

Apparently there is a simple solution to improving the popularity and the appeal of athletics; and it’s another Olympic sport  with an even lower profile that is showing us the way.

The answer: skirts!

If all female athletes had to wear skirts, then, according to the logic of theWorld Badminton Federation, the aesthetic appeal of the sport would result in higher participation rates as well as increased public interest.

Surely this could work a treat for athletics, too!
